This four-day long songwriting retreat is led by Lefteris Moumtzis, inspired by his workshop From Intention to Creation at Music Village in Pelion. Designed for both emerging songwriters and experienced artists seeking renewal, the retreat offers a space to reconnect with your voice, deepen your writing practice and create within a supportive creative group. Hosted in the mountain village of Vavla, the retreat blends guided workshops with open creative time. Each day invites participants to move from the seed of an idea to a fully formed song through a process rooted in intention, emotional truth and presence. Together, we explore authentic expression, storytelling and collaboration through conversation and practice. Participants work individually and collectively, supported by an environment that encourages openness and vulnerability. Afternoons are dedicated to writing and reflection, while evenings feature listening circles, mini-performances and the gentle feeling of belonging to a temporary creative family. An integral part of the retreat are the meals that will be shared with the whole group three times a day.
The retreat includes:
• Daily songwriting workshops
• Guided group sessions with the facilitator
• One-to-one mentoring and personalised feedback
• Dedicated writing time and space for exploration
• Evening gatherings, sharing circles and small performances
• Three rich delicious shared meals per day
• Accommodation in Vavla village (camping or rooms - private or shared)
• Nature walks, quiet moments and opportunities to recalibrate
• A final sharing performance of the material created at a private space
From Intention to Creation is an invitation to reconnect with your artistic purpose and return home with new creative material, new insights and a renewed relationship with your creative self.
